Travel is my biggest passion. There is not a thing in the world that educates, thrills and satisfies quite like learning more about the world through your own experiences. Since finishing university in 2008 travel has been one of the constants in my life and my road has taken in six continents, endless laughs, occasional terrors, innumerable rants and memories to last me forever. It’s a journey that almost inevitably led to travel writing.
With my solo international travel blogging days now behind me I am proud to now be a Scottish blogger that just can’t stop talking about his home country. My travel blog persona is Travels with a Kilt and it combines my love for travel and my love of Scotland. I am, though, always on the lookout for good quality partnerships, particularly when it comes to travel writing.
If you are a fan of my writing I’d be delighted to hear from you about working together. My writing style is adaptable as needed and can cover destinations, activities and excursions, accommodation, equipment and tools both physical and digital that benefit the 21st Century traveller. Although not my principal area of focus, I do work on freelance writing projects on a regular basis and I’m always open to ideas. If it has a relevance to Scotland and travel, I am interested. You can keep up with my blogging travels through my ever-growing Scotland blog and here’s some tips on what it’s like to work with travel bloggers.
I am open to providing reviews on any Scottish related product or service. All of my reviews are fair and honest. If I feel that they will benefit my Locomotion Scotland customers they may also be included in my Scotland travel itineraries. See my contact details below to discuss further.
Radio listeners can also tune in to my regional highlights around Scotland through my regular work with BBC Radio Scotland. Here’s me talking about the top things to do in Perthshire – just click play below.
